Operation Goldilocks

Hi. It’s been almost a month since I posted here and the reasons for that is actually quite simple. I am no longer in Vancouver.

I would like to add a statement of sadness behind that sentence, cause it is sad, but it isn’t all gloom, but let us start at the beginning.

After wrapping up my exams (which I passed easily, though didn’t aced), I spend some time on the phone with various airplane carriers, trying to find an early flight back home. The problem with that was that there was still the issue of the active Icelandic Vulcano which had stranded many people. After it became clear that I wouldn’t be able to fly home earlier from Vancouver, I changed plans and rescheduled my flight (or actually bought a new ticket) for three days earlier and this time out of Seattle.

“Are you in such a hurry to leave Vancouver?” I can hear you ask. And the answer is: not really. Vancouver and Canada have been absolutely amazing and I do miss it there, but I needed to leave, if for no other reason than then fact that my lease was up and I needed to move on with my life. And in my enthusiasm and crazy mind, I wanted to go home sooner rather than later so I could surprise some friends at their concert.
